Discipline, Leadership & Persistent Challenges | Plant Diary – February 25, 2025

Morning Meeting – The Reality of Work

I started the session with a simple truth:
🔹 Nobody wants to leave home and come to the plant. LET'S BE HONEST.
🔹 Our responsibilities push us to do so.
🔹 Since we are here, we must work—with full energy. There's no other way.

✔ This direct message was necessary to reset the mindset of the team.

Alcohol Issues – Again a Concern

⚠️ Alcohol-related problems were raised again.
⚠️ This is becoming a repetitive issue, indicating that previous warnings haven’t worked.
⚠️ A stronger approach may be needed.

Encouraging Leadership – HOD Standing Meeting

📌 Encouraged Mr. Lingaiah to lead today's meeting—and he did it well.
📌 Good leadership must be nurtured—this was a step in the right direction.
📌 Actionable Decision:
✅ All morning meetings and HOD standing meetings should have recorded minutes for future reference.

Cooler Inspection – Confronting Disruptive Behavior

⚠️ Mr. Tabate (a delegate equivalent to a union leader) misbehaved again at the cooler section.
⚠️ Called him to the office and tried to explain, but he refused to understand.
⚠️ Showed clear displeasure—his attitude is one of the biggest hurdles to progress.

These individuals slow down plant progress—this issue cannot be ignored.

DPM & CCR Shutdown Discussions

🔍 What exactly are the CCR people doing during shutdowns?
🔍 This needs clarity and accountability.

JPR Discussion scheduled for tomorrow—projector needed.
Attendance confirmation required.

Official Visit – Meeting the New Police Commissioner

👮‍♂️ New Police Commissioner, Mr. K. Adraky, along with his Deputy, visited the plant.
👮‍♂️ Routine discussion—but important to maintain good relations with authorities.

Health Awareness Initiative – Personal Involvement

📹 Yesterday, I received a beautiful video on the importance of health.
📹 Today, I prepared a Hindi script for it.
📹 Personally recorded my voice over the video.

✔ A small but meaningful step towards employee well-being.
