A Day of Reflection and Refinement

This morning, I continued on the path of humility and inclusivity. It was the second consecutive day that I consciously kept my tone calm, composed, and engaging.

Morning Meeting – Data Speaks Louder Than Words

I shared the March stoppage data and let the numbers do the talking. Preventive Maintenance was once again the core message. We cannot let breakdowns dictate our work. We must act before failure happens.

I also distributed the department-wise stoppage data to all concerned teams, with a simple but firm request—

📌 Hold a departmental performance review meeting.

📌 Discuss, analyze, and understand the root causes.

📌 Create an action plan for improvement.

I didn’t issue commands. I let them take ownership. If they feel responsible for their department’s performance, they will act.

Short and Soft – The New Tone in DPM

The Daily Production Meeting (DPM) was short and crisp. Again, I maintained a soft tone. I have realized that sometimes, the right approach is not to push but to guide.

Refining the Data – Building the Backbone of Analysis

After the meeting, I spent time further refining the compilation of the DPR and Stoppage Sheet.

🔹 This will now become the core datasheet for plant performance presentation.

🔹 It will drive all future analysis and discussions.

🔹 No more vague assumptions—decisions will be based on data.

A Moment of Refreshing Pause – A Long Shower

Lunch break. 1 PM to 2 PM. I took a long, relaxing shower. There’s something about the feel of water washing away the fatigue, both physical and mental.

A Stronger Electrical Department – The Review Meeting

Post lunch, I was invited by the Electrical Team for their departmental performance review meeting.
It turned out to be one of the most productive discussions I’ve had in a while.

🔹 They opened up about serious, overlooked issues.

🔹 We brainstormed, discussed, and put together a solid plan to strengthen Preventive Maintenance in Electrical.

🔹 This was exactly the kind of meeting every department should have.

Today felt like a day of reflection and refinement. Data was compiled, meetings had real substance, and a blueprint for improvement was laid.

Rain, Walks, and Capturing the Moment

The drizzling continued in the evening. Instead of sitting indoors, I walked around the plant, absorbing the moment.

Clicked a few pictures—small captures of a day that mattered.
