The First of April – No Jokes, Just Reality

The first day of April arrived quietly, with very few people at the morning meeting. The plant was stopped, and as expected, many chose to stay back. But discipline should not depend on circumstances. Even on a shutdown day, the routine must go on.

After the prayer, I spoke about time. Three months of the year have already passed. What have we achieved? Last month, we restarted Line #2 on the 12th. But the numbers don’t look good. Final monthly report will be made today, but I already know the results.

Availability is poor.

MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is bad.

Production is very, very bad.

No surprises there. The reason is simple—we are not focusing on Preventive Maintenance. We cannot keep running after breakdowns. That’s not maintenance, that’s just firefighting.

I reminded everyone:

🛠 C.L.T.I. is the foundation of Preventive Maintenance.

📜 ISO procedures and work instructions exist to help us—let’s follow them.

🔍 Review, revise, improve—without that, we will keep repeating the same mistakes.

Basic Things Are Still Being Discussed – Why?

The Process HOD brought up LC (Line Clearance) procedures. I couldn’t help but find it funny and frustrating.
A basic thing like LC is still being discussed? Because some people avoid it, saying it takes too much time. Idiots.

Then it hit me—even my morning talk was about a basic topic. Sometimes, I wonder if the Theory of Evolution is a lie. How can people still struggle with things that should be second nature by now?

Finding Myself Again

For the past few days, I felt lost.
I used to be someone who energized others, lifted their mood, made them feel motivated.
Somewhere along the way, that part of me faded. But now, I have realized it. And since that realization, I am slowly getting my old self back.

I will do it.

(And yes, ChatGPT’s analysis of my situation was insightful.)

Rain, Showers, and the Missing Umbrella

A quick shower after almost a week. That felt refreshing. But why does no one carry an umbrella here? I need one. I love moving around when it rains. There’s something calming about walking in the rain.
